Lord barden School is a warm, friendly and vibrant community that prides itself on good relationships.

We are the only scout school in the country and have an exemplary local and national reputation for academic excellence.

We are a non-denominational school for girls and boys from form one to six situated in the

peaceful surroundings of Bagamoyo in Mapinga Village.

Lord Barden strongly believes in the power of education to shape people’s lives and  is based

on the scouts values of dutyto God,duty to the nation and duty to serve others.

Our education is open to girls and boys from different backgrounds to study and learn together and from each other.

We regard our diversity as one of our major strengths and one of our many legacies from the founder.

We provide a broad education for all students that is ambitious, varied and stimulating.

We are committed to developing the whole person, to encouraging girls and boys to explore their interests in

a wide variety of ways and to promoting curiosity of mind, independence of spirit and a love of learning.
